About Rayhock

Rooted in Sri Lanka, connected to the world.

Rayhock is a new Sri Lankan export company based in Galle, specialising in Ceylon cinnamon. We source cinnamon, black pepper and coconut from growers and processors across the island, and supply them to wholesale buyers abroad, each to the buyer's own specification.

We are open about being new. What we offer is how we work: close checks on every lot, clear information, and doing exactly what we agreed.

The Rayhock emblem

The name

Light, and four things we hold to.

RAY
Light. The clarity that lets a buyer see exactly what they are getting, from the first sample to the last document.
HOCK
Honesty, Origin, Consistency and Kept promises: the four things we hold to on every order.

Our motto says the same in four words: keen eyes, kept promises.

Our vision

To build, from the heart of Ceylon, an enterprise the world can trust — one that grows, product by product and venture by venture, without limit, into a name Sri Lanka is proud to stand behind for generations.

Our mission

To carry the finest of Sri Lanka to the world, welcome the world to Sri Lanka, and build lasting value at home, through businesses that keep every promise they make.

What we hold to

The four letters of HOCK, and what they mean when you buy from us.

Honesty

Clear specifications, realistic timelines and straight answers, even when the answer is no.

Origin

Everything we sell is grown and processed in Sri Lanka, and we are building direct relationships with the growers and processors behind it.

Consistency

Every lot is checked against your approved sample, so each shipment matches the one before it.

Kept promises

What we quote is what you receive: the grade, the weight, the documents and the date.

A note from our founder

I studied transport and commercial shipping, and my first role put me on the buying side of trade: procurement, freight forwarding and customs clearance for import shipments. It showed me how much an importer depends on its supplier. The right grade, the right papers, and cargo that leaves on the day it was promised.

I started Rayhock in Galle to be the supplier I would want to buy from. We look closely at every lot before it leaves Sri Lanka, we answer clearly, and we do what we agreed.

Keen eyes, kept promises. That is the whole idea.
